A Prefeitura de Florianópolis informa que a partir das 9h de domingo, dia 25 de agosto, o trânsito sobre as duas faixas do Elevado do Rio Tavares vai voltar a fluir normalmente.
É que as obras que exigiram a interdição temporária de uma das faixas desde o dia 19 de agosto puderam ser antecipadas devido à condição climática favorável, possibilitando que a liberação, prevista inicialmente para as 20h de segunda-feira, dia 26 de agosto, aconteça mais cedo.
Para evitar transtornos aos motoristas, durante a realização dos serviços, as faixas foram paralisadas uma de cada vez, e a Polícia Rodoviária Estadual prestou total apoio.
As faixas receberam vedação na junta de dilatação, serviço de acabamento final do monumento programado para ser feito após a abertura do Elevado do Rio Tavares.
Era necessário aguardar um período de seis meses de fluxo de veículos e com o elevado trabalhando suas juntas para posteriormente intervir nelas.
