Segundo a CCR, o trecho em questão, entre Paulo Lopes e Passo de Torres, bateu o recorde de tráfego de veículos.
Comparado ao ano anterior, houve um aumento de 27% no trânsito de veículos no período do Natal (22 e 26 de dezembro de 2023). Na época de Réveillon (29 de dezembro e 2 de janeiro) o crescimento foi de 30% em comparação ao ano passado. Os dados são da concessionária.
As cidades entre os destinos, como Laguna e Garopaba, foram locais que conseguiram registrar um número expressivo de visitantes nessa época. Laguna contou com cerca de 150 mil pessoas na virada de 2023 para 2024 e Garopaba estima 120 mil pessoas na mesma data.
Ainda, municípios fora da rota também tiveram um número marcante de pessoas para aproveitar o réveillon nas praias catarinenses.
